Biohack: Slow Down Hair Regrowth Time By 50%

Biohack: Slow Down Hair Regrowth Time By 50%

If you’re human; you’ve probably asked yourself at least once “why do I have all this hair on my body?” and it’s a good question. The reality is that while our social evolution has been accelerated since the Edwardian Period, our physical evolution hasn’t!

Hair on the human body used to serve the purpose of warmth and protection! But since we have clothes now, the excess body hair is now rendered useless. Now all we have is the additional inconvenience of removing it while our physical evolution figures out how to phase it out!

Thankfully there’s no hair problem that Sugaring can’t help us resolve.

But what if there was to slow down hair growth by as much as 50% and extend that smooth skin time in between to as long as 8 week?

Well there is. Some of you advanced biohackers may already be in the know but since you’re part of our Sugar Tribe we’re obviously going to spill the beans here.

First, it’s important to understand how hair grows. There are 3 phases of hair growth: Anagen (active growth), Catagen (transitional), and Telogen (resting phase). All 3 of these phases are happening simultaneously, although most of your hair is in the Anagen phase.

Since these are overlapping cycles you can see hair start to grow back in as little as 2 weeks. You’ll notice that it’s only about 10 to 15% of the hair that starts the early regrowth but that is enough to put a damper on your Sports Illustrated photo shoot.

The secret to slowing the hair growth way down is to do sugaring of the area in 3 consecutive short phases. What that means is that you select an area - let’s say your lower legs - and you sugar the area clean. Wait 2-3 weeks - just monitor the regrowth and as soon as you see about 10% of the hair regrowing at the same pace and at ⅛th of an inch - sugar again. A few of the hairs might be longer but the majority should be at least ⅛th of an inch.

The key is to repeat this short term sugaring of the same area 3 times consecutively, every 2-3 weeks in order to ensure that you’re getting the hairs in all 3 phases of growth. Your hair will grow back slower and finer and you’re giving your body the message that you don’t need all that hair for warmth or protection.
